Railway traffic is gradually recovering on the Milan – Bologna high-speed line, after the severe slowdowns in the early hours of this morning. High-speed trains have experienced delays and cancellations due to the continuation of the technological modernization works on the Milan – Bologna – Florence high-speed line. The situation, FS reports, is improving after the intervention of RFI technicians.

Railway traffic had been significantly slowed down since the early hours of this morning. High-speed trains have experienced delays and cancellations. Slowdowns of up to 120 minutes were recorded. The first slowdowns were recorded from 06:00 this morning near Piacenza due to a technical problem with the line. The delays, initially lasting 60 minutes, then doubled.
