The Collegiate Organization of Dentists raises thus publicly complained to the authorities, asking for the intercession of the State Confederation of Medical Unions (CESM), which yesterday demanded, together with the nursing union (SATSE), the return of extra payments cut since 2010 for affected health professionals.
In fact, the president of the General Council requested by letter to the Dr. Miguel Lázaro Ferreruela, president of the CESM, to include dentists in their demands, since these professionals are affected by the same situation of reduction in the collection of their extraordinary payments.
At the moment, about 1,200 dentists work in the public health systemassuming a high healthcare pressure that has only increased in recent years due to the increase in skills and services in various autonomous communities.
