The third season of Monsters is already underway

Netflix has just confirmed that there will also be a third season of the saga Monstersalso by Ryan Murphy. This new season will star serial killer Ed Gein, known as the Plainfield Butcher. Actor Charlie Hunnam, known for his roles in Rebel Moon and The Gentlemen: Lords of the Mafia, will step into the shoes of the well-known murderer.a

The Gein crimes case became one of the most talked about in 1957when in this strange family’s home investigators discovered that bodies had been exhumed from local cemeteries in their hometown of Plainfield and human remains were found during a search of their property. Gein confessed that he had killed two women, Mary Hogan in 1954 and Bernice Worden in 1957, but he was suspected of having killed more.

He was initially found unfit to stand trial, but was later tried for Worden’s murder in 1968, and died in a mental health facility in 1984.
