Route through El Torcal de Antequera

green route
This route begins in the upper parking lot and shares a large part of the yellow route. On this tour you will learn about the morphology of El Torcal de Antequera and you will recognize some figures such as the Sphinx, the Canary, the Indian or the Watcher.

Orange route or up to Torcal Alto
The orange route starts at lower parking and tour the old quarries and pasture areas such as Hoyo de Gramaeros. During the ascent you will pass by the Manuel Grajales Viewpoint and the Majada del Fraile until you surpass the Puerto de Tinajuela. This port gives way to the Cañada de Tosaires and flows into the Tornillo Natural Monument.

How to get to El Torcal de Antequera?
The Torcal de Antequera Natural Area is located about 15 kilometers from Antequerain Malaga. Access to the area is via a mountain road located between the towns of Antequera and Villanueva de la Concepción.
