(CNN) – At least 21 people died in a fire that occurred on Friday in a student residence in Kenya, reported government spokesman Isaac Mwaura. in a statement released this Saturday.
Hillside Endarasha Academy housed 156 students. Nineteen bodies were recovered at the scene and two others died in local hospitals.
Mwaura expressed his condolences on behalf of the Government to the loved ones of the victims.
