Patch 7 is now available for the PC version of Baldur’s Gate 3.

If you play on consoles or Mac, you’ll need a little more patience; according to Larian, Patch 7 will be released for these systems in October 2024.

A series of highlights

With Patch 7, among other things, the evil endings of the role-playing game for villainous playthroughs will be revised. There are also individual endings if you play as an Origin character.

Mod support is also included; mods created by the community can be searched for and installed using a dedicated mod manager.

The split-screen gameplay is also being revised. A dynamic split screen awaits you here. The game brings both sides together when players are close to each other. If they move away, the image will split up again.

“Patch 7 also brings improvements to Honor Mode, including new legendary actions, as well as numerous bug fixes for playthroughs with Origin characters and the Dark Urge,” it says.

“It may even be possible to temporarily accept a certain Tiefling bard into the group, although you shouldn’t become too attached to her.”
