(CNN) – Elon Musk, who recently expressed his support for former President Trump, posted a fake image of what appears to be Vice President Harris dressed in a red communist uniform.
“Kamala swears to be a communist dictator from day one. “Can you believe she wears that outfit?” Musk posted on Xthe social media platform he owns, in response to the vice president’s post in which he warned that Trump would be a “dictator on day one.”
According to the X policyusers “may not share synthetic, manipulated, or out-of-context media that could mislead or confuse people and cause harm (‘misleading media’). Additionally, we may label posts that contain misleading media to help people understand their authenticity and provide additional context.”
Musk’s post does not carry any such label.
Last month, Trump posted an artificial intelligence image of Harris in which the Democratic candidate appeared speaking in front of a communist symbol at the Democratic National Convention.
