May 31, 2024 – PlayStation has officially launched F1 24 today for PS5 and PS4, featuring a completely revamped Career Mode and a new Dynamic Handling system. Developed by EA Sports and Codemasters, this latest installment promises an immersive and realistic racing experience.
F1 24 introduces the all-new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling model, developed in collaboration with reigning World Champion Max Verstappen. This model aims to provide realistic and predictable car performance, enhancing the overall driving experience. Players will notice improvements in suspension kinematics, tire models, aerodynamic simulations, and engine setups. The game also includes updates to various circuits such as Silverstone, Spa-Francorchamps, Lusail, and Jeddah Corniche to match their real-world counterparts.
The overhauled Career Mode is one of the game’s biggest highlights. Players can step into the shoes of any 2024 F1 driver, an up-and-coming F2 competitor, or even create their own character. The Career Mode offers a variety of new features, including on-track objectives, race-day tasks, and contract negotiations. Players can build their reputation, complete specific targets, and secure new deals or transfers to rival teams.

Another exciting addition is the F1 World multiplayer mode, returning for its second season. This mode allows players to compete in time-limited leagues, collaborate on team goals, and participate in community-driven events. Players can also race with friends or against them in two-player Career Mode, where they can either join forces or compete as rivals.
F1 24 also brings real-life driver audio samples, adding a new dimension to the game. Drivers will react to on-track incidents, enhancing the immersion. Additionally, the game features a new broadcast presentation package and cutscenes that make race days feel more authentic.
Players who pre-ordered the Champions Edition by May 1 received early access starting May 28, along with exclusive in-game content such as 2024 team liveries for Time Trial mode, 18,000 Pitcoins, and special Icons like James Hunt and Juan Pablo Montoya. The standard edition, featuring cover stars Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, and Charles Leclerc, also offers bonuses like Pitcoins and an F1 World Starter Pack.
