The rain started after winning the toss and batting first, losing 4 wickets in 38.3 overs and scoring 185 runs. Sri Lanka set a target of 232 runs in 37 overs in the rain. Which won with 31 balls and 5 wickets in hand.

West Indies did not get off to a good start. He lost 3 wickets for 54 runs. But from there Sherfen Rutherford took the lead of the team. Picked up fifty. He was unbeaten on 74 off 82 balls before the rain came.

Madushka opened with 69 off 54 balls. And Asalanka won the match by playing an innings of 77 runs off 71 balls. This all-rounder also got a wicket by bowling.
