Pressure is growing on President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to further reduce the military age in Ukraine. But many young men are planning to leave the country themselves or at least bring their sons to safety. The Russian aggressor is faced with an increasingly outdated and exhausted army.
It was a special concert that thousands of Ukrainians came to the Kiev Sports Palace on October 11th: Swatoslav Vakarchuk and his fellow musicians from Okean Elzy celebrated 30 years of band history. The concert was for employees of the Kiev military offices a special opportunity: They checked male visitors for possible withdrawal of draft orders or directly handed out summonses for muster.
