A car driven by a Palestinian driver crashed into an Israeli police armored vehicle in a suspected attack in the West Bank, according to Israeli authorities.
The driver died in the incident, and no police officers were injured.
Security camera footage shows a speeding car colliding with the armored vehicle, which was parked.
One of the police officers had just left the place where the attack took place, appearing to be unaware of the approaching car. He barely missed being hit.
In a statement, the police said that “during an operational activity by the Judea and Samaria district police on route 60, near the settlement of Ofra, a Palestinian vehicle collided with a police car, for a reason that has not yet been clarified.”
