The Meta company—owner of WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger and Instagram— announced on Tuesday that Meta AI can now be used in several Latin American countries, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru, as well as in the African country of Cameroon.
Simply put, Meta AI is the Meta assistant powered by artificial intelligence.
“Meta AI is now the smartest AI assistant that you can use for free,” Meta said when he made the official launch of your assistant in April this year.
With Meta AI you can do several things:

- You can ask him cooking recipes.
- You can also ask for study tips and help you better understand your lessons.
- Ask the best destination in your country or community for vacation.
Anyway, you can go to Meta AI, basically, to generate responses, whether text or images.
For example, to generate an image, you must write in the Meta AI chat: “Imagine an astronaut in manga style.” With this, the AI will create the image according to your description.
Therefore, Meta AI is a generative artificial intelligence, as its WhatsApp profile indicates: “Generative AI is a computer model that learns data patterns so that people can use it to create something new, such as text or images.”
The computer model that Meta created to learn from data and deploy its AI assistant is called Goal Flame 3.

The only thing you need to do is click on the Meta AI icon when you enter your WhatsApp app. You can recognize it as a blue, violet and green circle above the (+) symbol that is used to start a new chat.
When you have pressed the Meta AI symbol, it will take you directly to the chat where you can talk to the company’s artificial intelligence tool.
Here you will see some recommendations to start a conversation, such as asking about the latest soccer results, tips for public speaking, information about K-pop, among others.
However, in order to use Meta AI, you will have to accept the “Meta AI conditions”. To do this, you just have to click on “Continue” in the window that appears once you want to write a message in the Meta AI chat. But be careful: we recommend you read those conditions before you press the “Continue” button, as this way you will have better tools to make a more informed decision.
At this time, there is no manual process to disable Meta AI once you have agreed to Mark Zuckerberg’s Company AI terms.
Therefore, we recommend that you do not click “Continue” if you are not sure about using the service or if the Meta conditions do not convince you to use the tool.
